On March 15, the "New Four-Door, Play with Fun — Fifth Generation Hongguang MINIEV Pre-Sale Launch Event · Shandong Stop" kicked off at Jinan Shimao Plaza. This launch event specially joined hands with two trendy IPs, Qbao and Nailong, injecting more joy genes into the scene.

Through carefully designed static displays and dynamic test drive sessions, the new car's playful aesthetic design, "four-door four-seat" spatial performance, upgraded ride comfort, and all-dimensional safety protection were comprehensively presented, receiving high recognition from on-site experiencers.

As a brand-new masterpiece launched by Wuling after six years of deep cultivation in the micro new energy vehicle market, the fifth generation Hongguang MINIEV carries the brand's in-depth insight into the travel methods of contemporary young people. The new car deeply integrates the concept of "playful fun" into product design, with "New Four-Door, Play with Fun" as its core proposition, committed to providing diverse consumer groups with a new travel solution that combines individual expression and interest connection, making a commuter car no longer a simple means of transportation, but rather a trend symbol that showcases attitude and connects diverse lifestyle circles.

The exterior of the fifth generation Hongguang MINIEV four-door version has been redesigned, with front and rear chrome trim strips giving the car more layering at once, making it durable and pleasing to the eye. At the same time, three new car colors have been added: Gray Cute, Green Leisurely, and White Fluffy, which not only conform to young people's aesthetic trends but also have extremely high recognizability. The customized model co-branded with Qbao for the first time was also brought to the Shandong stop as a key display.

The interior features a simple annular operation console paired with a floating LCD instrument panel. The previous rotary gear shift has also been upgraded to an electronic column shifter, which is easy to operate while also leaving more space for the central island console. The hollowed-out design on the passenger side is a highlight, as it can hold figurines or blind boxes, and also meet the needs of young mothers for easy access to everyday items.

Although it has two rows and four seats, the body length has been increased to 3268mm, with a wheelbase of 2190mm, making it more convenient to get in and out of the rear seats than before. The rear seats support a 50/50 split-folding function, and after folding, the maximum trunk volume reaches 838L, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable riding experience while also using the spacious trunk to load various camping items.

The new car offers two CLTC range versions of 205km and 301km, and DC fast charging can go from 30% to 80% in just 35 minutes. It is easy to park and place for daily commuting. The mobile app supports remote scheduled startup and remote air conditioning control, and supports keyless entry, keyless startup, and intelligent power on/off. In addition, the new car's infotainment system will be able to support three mobile phone connectivity methods — CarPlay, HiCar, and CarLink — through OTA in the future.

The fifth generation Hongguang MINIEV adopts an annular cage body, with high-strength steel accounting for 60%, and key parts using 1500MPa ultra-high-strength steel. Driver and passenger airbags are standard across the entire lineup, providing all-dimensional protection for driving safety. The new car is also equipped with an ESC body stability system, with as many as 12 sub-functions to ensure the vehicle is safer when navigating curves, slippery roads, and other complex road conditions.

From the first generation to the fifth generation, Hongguang MINIEV has always anchored itself to users' core needs for continuous iteration and upgrading, transforming from a national commuter car into a travel fashion item. With its cute and personalized design, agile handling experience, rich functional configuration, and excellent economy, the new car precisely meets young people's practical and individual pursuit of urban commuting, and will surely lead a new generation of urban travel trends, bringing users a more convenient and more comfortable new experience.
