Galloping on the green pitch, chasing dreams of youth! On October 24, the 2026 Dongrun Cup National Youth Football Finals and grand award ceremony successfully concluded at Beijing Workers' Stadium. As the top strategic partner of the event, BYD provided full support for the smooth hosting of the tournament, generously contributing to the development of campus football in China, and witnessing thousands of young players sweating and shining with passion on a national-level professional stage, racing toward their own dreams on the green pitch.

This year's Dongrun Cup was grand in scale and broad in coverage, bringing together 22 elite campus teams selected through层层 screening from 352 primary and secondary schools across more than 20 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities nationwide. A host of young players gathered in Beijing to compete fiercely in a single-elimination format. On the pitch, all teams strove to be first, daring to fight and compete, relying on seamless teamwork and tenacious sporting spirit to push hard for a place in the final. Every run, tackle, and shot showcased the vigorous vitality and spirited style of Chinese youth football.

The highly anticipated ultimate final landed at Beijing Workers' Stadium, with Tsinghua University High School and Shijiazhuang No. 2 Middle School Experimental School facing off in a clash of titans. The entire match featured brisk transitions between attack and defense and brilliant, intense tactical confrontations. Players from both teams went all out and played steadily, treating the live audience to a high-quality, high-level pinnacle showdown of campus football. As the final whistle blew, Tsinghua University High School, with an outstanding performance, claimed the national championship of this year's Dongrun Cup with an excellent score of 2:0.

As the event concluded, glory was crowned. The award ceremony held afterward was solemn and grand. A referee representative publicly read out the final results of the tournament on site, announcing and presenting the individual honors for Best Goalkeeper, Best Scorer, and Best Player in turn, while also awarding trophies and prize money to the champion, runner-up, and third-place teams, paying tribute to every effort and perseverance. Kong Dongmei, founder and chairman of the Dongrun Public Welfare Foundation, and Li Yunfei, general manager of BYD's Brand and Public Relations Department, attended the event in person to present awards to the winning athletes and teams, jointly witnessing the glorious highlight moment of China's football youth.

"We cannot take their place on the pitch, but we can bring them to the venue." This is the original aspiration and commitment of BYD in deeply cultivating youth football public welfare. Li Yunfei, general manager of BYD's Brand and Public Relations Department, stated that the Dongrun Public Welfare Foundation has for ten years as one day deeply cultivated the field of youth public welfare, upholding the original aspiration of long-termism in education and sports philanthropy, and that this commitment is highly consistent with BYD's corporate development philosophy and public welfare original aspiration. The love for football knows no borders, and the youth pitch knows no limits in size. BYD has always been committed to building a professional, high-standard domestic competitive stage for Chinese football youth, so that every passion has soil in which to bloom and young players can see a broader world.

Supporting the growth of Chinese youth football is a public welfare track that BYD has long adhered to. Prior to this, BYD had already continued to deeply cultivate campus football and youth training causes, providing long-term empowerment to quality youth training projects such as Chinese Football Youth and Open Trials for the Future, and having cumulatively helped more than 200 youth football players go abroad and step onto the world stage. By organizing young players to visit top overseas powerhouse clubs and attend international top-tier events such as the European Championship and the World Cup on site, BYD helps the new generation of football talent broaden their international horizons and absorb advanced competition experience, accumulating strength for the growth of reserve talent in Chinese football.

This collaboration with the Dongrun Public Welfare Foundation to create a national-level youth football event is a brand-new practice of BYD's support for campus football and deep cultivation of sports public welfare, and is also a vivid demonstration of corporate social responsibility. The event builds a professional platform for fair competition and mutual growth for campus youth nationwide, giving countless ordinary campus football enthusiasts the opportunity to showcase themselves and break through their limits.

If the young are strong, the country is strong; if sports thrive, the nation's fortunes thrive. In the future, BYD will continue to uphold long-termism, follow the scientific growth patterns of youth football, continue to increase investment in youth sports causes, deeply cultivate campus football empowerment and youth training talent development, and continue to pave the way and escort the new generation of Chinese football, helping more young players on the green pitch pursue the light, build up strength, and race toward broader fields, lighting up the future of Chinese football!
